Answers about CipherByte and how an engagement can begin.
01.What does CipherByte do?
CipherByte provides management consultancy, cybersecurity advisory and risk assessment, IT and digital transformation consulting, and disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
02.Who are your services for?
Our services are aimed at international SMEs and growing enterprises seeking practical support with business processes, technology decisions, cybersecurity and resilience.
03.Where is CipherByte based?
CipherByte is based in Singapore and serves an international business audience. Delivery arrangements are discussed as part of the engagement scope.
04.How does an engagement begin?
Start by describing your business context, the challenge you are facing and the decision or outcome you need support with. We can then discuss the scope, relevant stakeholders and expected outputs.
05.Can an engagement cover more than one service?
Yes. Business processes, cybersecurity, technology change and continuity often overlap. The scope can bring relevant areas together around an agreed business need.
06.Does a risk assessment include technical testing?
The assessment approach is agreed before work begins. Any technical testing, its boundaries and the required authorizations need to be explicitly included in that scope.
07.What is the difference between business continuity and disaster recovery?
Business continuity considers how essential activities continue during disruption. Disaster recovery focuses on restoring technology and data. Effective planning connects both with business priorities and responsibilities.
08.What should we include in an initial enquiry?
A short description of your organization, the challenge, relevant service area and any timing considerations is enough to begin. Please avoid sending passwords, sensitive system details or confidential documents through the enquiry form.
09.Are the example challenges client case studies?
No. They are illustrative scenarios showing how a consulting engagement might be framed. They do not represent completed client work or promised outcomes.
